We’re redefining what a youth soccer club can be.
San Jose Football Club was founded on a simple belief: youth soccer should be built around players—not teams.
For decades, most youth soccer clubs have operated the same way. Players try out, teams are formed, annual commitments are made, and much of the experience revolves around schedules, standings, and winning games.
We believe there’s a better way.
SJFC is creating a new model for youth soccer—one that prioritizes player development, community, creativity, and a lifelong love of the game.

Some of the greatest soccer players in the world developed their creativity through pickup games, street soccer, and playing simply for the love of the game.
That’s why every Thursday at SJFC is dedicated to Thursday Night Football.
There are no tactical lectures.
No constant coaching.
No stopping play every few minutes.
Players organize.

Players solve problems.
Our coaches provide a safe environment, organize the games, and then let football happen.
Because sometimes the best teacher is the game itself.
